Welcome to The Ragger & IWBT I Would Be True
The YMCA Rag Program has been around since 1914 to help people grow in mind, body, spirit with the emphasis of the Judeo-Christian faith. The program has been created to allow anyone who would like to focus on accepting and accomplishing personal challenges or goals that help one become the best version of themselves through becoming closer to God and by living by Judeo-Christian values. The Rag Program helps individuals to not be self-centered but God/others-centered in their way of living. The Rag Program sees the core values of honesty, caring, respect, responsibility, and faith woven through challenges and goals that participants make. With most camps having campers begin their camping experience at age 9, the leather program was born. The Ragger / IWBT has created rags: green, orange, and tan, to replace the three leathers in the program. Keeping all participants with rags brings uniformity in program language and inclusion for all that attend camp. The Ragger / IWBT reaches people from 9 to 120 years old helping them to grow and in due time, dedicate a lifetime to Christian service.
Thank you for allowing The Ragger to support your program needs and to continue a great tradition!

I would be true, for there are those who trust me,
I would be pure, for there are those who care,
I would be strong, for there is much to suffer,
I would be brave, for there is much to dare.
I would be friend to all, the foe, the friendless,
I would be giving and forget the gift,
I would be humble, for I know my weakness,
I would look up and laugh, and love and lift.
